A Northern Fixture Since 1989
Woodlands Swimming Complex opened in August 1989 as part of a wave of HDB sports facilities built to serve Singapore's expanding new towns. The pool was designed for residents in the Woodlands, Marsiling and Admiralty estates, giving the north its own competition-grade swimming venue.
The complex sits within the 8-hectare Woodlands Sports Complex, which also includes a stadium and sports hall. The surrounding area has grown into a civic hub with Woodlands Regional Library, Woodlands Community Club and Woodlands Polyclinic all within walking distance.
The pool underwent renovations in 2005 and again in 2015, updating the changing rooms, pool deck and filtration systems. It remains one of the few ActiveSG pools with a BBQ pit - one of only three in the network - making it a popular spot for family outings that combine swimming with a barbecue.

50m Competition Pool
Eight-lane outdoor competition pool with starting blocks. Open for lap swimming daily. Early morning access Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM for the competition pool only.
Teaching Pool
Shallower pool used for swimming lessons and general swimming. Suitable for beginners and younger swimmers building water confidence.
Kids Water Play & Wading Pool
Wading pool for young children alongside a water play area. Shallow depth, safe for toddlers. Popular with families on weekends.
